FACAP

The Finance and Career Accountability Program (FACAP) was born out of the desire to help career and business professional gain mastery of their money.

Since the subject of money is not taught in school, there is a gap in knowledge that needs to be filled.

FACAP is a one month long virtual program where people are hand-held to start their financial management and investing journey, regardless of their current financial level.

In the last one year, over 700 Africans (both home and abroad) have participated in this one-month long program.

Each cohort focus on 5 different modules as follows:

1. Budgeting and Financial Planning
2. Becoming a shareholder- investing the capital market- Stocks & REIT
3. Mutual Funds, Bonds and Other Fixed Income Investing
4. Alternative investment -Commodities
5. Retirement planning- How to maximize your RSA (for tax and housing)

During the program, participants would be taught and supported to:

1. Design a personal budget to regulate your monthly income and expenses.
2. Open a stockbroking account, CSCS, and start trading.
3. Create an investment diversified portfolio based on your risk appetite, and investment goals
4. Learn how to analyze a company's financials for the purpose of investment.
5. Draw up your own vision board and learn the fundamentals of positioning.
